隨著知識經濟的飛速發展和科技的日益進步，調整經濟增長方式成為必然。民營企業作為國民經濟發展的重要力量，提高民營企業在國際環境中的競爭力成為我國企業發展的必然，而隨著民營企業規模的不斷擴大，內部管理機制不完善、管理水準落後逐漸顯現出來，管理創新成為民營企業目前面臨解決的最重要的課題，民營企業要實現全面發展，走可持續發展的道路，必須進行管理創新，從管理思想、管理模式、管理手段上進行創新性的變革，在學習型組織理論的指導下建立學習型民營企業，把企業成員的學習行為有效地轉化為企業的創新能力，在學習的過程中不斷地提高企業成員的知識水準和專業技能，從而促進企業管理創新的有效實施，解決民營企業在管理創新中遇到的問題，因此在學習型組織理論的視角下研究民營企業的管理創新具有較強的現實意義。
