欧洲传统狮纹图案研究及其在

现代标志设计中的运用

 

 

中 文 摘 要

与我国传统的“虎”文化不同,欧洲文化尊崇“狮”文化。狮子拥有仪表堂堂的体魄、威严的仪态和贵族的气质,是力量和勇气的象征。在欧洲文化中,狮子是凶猛的食人兽,同时也是森林之王。因此狮子被认为是王权,勇敢以及力量的象征。因此,狮子的形象在欧洲各种传统文化中都颇受青睐,在欧洲传统图像艺术设计的发展过程中,狮子图像在石器时期起就已经出现。狮子图像不仅是建筑雕刻、绘画的创作题材之一,也是传统工艺美术和艺术设计的重要图像纹式之一。狮子是欧洲传统纹章图案中出现率最高的动物形象。

据统计,狮纹图案占据现保存的所有纹章图案的15%。纹章中的狮子一般呈直立状,头朝侧面(单只时向左面为多),也有很多是两只狮子相对直立的。如今狮纹图案在欧洲现代图形设计中也颇为常见,比如标致车标致,金凯莎标致等等。本文通过对狮纹图案进行多角度分析和解读,把握其典型性的形态与最本质的意蕴,并对其设计形式作历史的考察总结,研究其在各个时期艺术设计中的形成、变化及其所传达的设计理念,揭示其所表现或暗示出来的思想内涵,以及设计的象征意义,及由此而扩大、积淀成的欧洲各民族审美意识和传统的文化气质。在中国,也有与欧洲狮纹具有相同内涵的纹样,比如龙纹,虎纹,麒麟纹等。研究欧洲传统狮纹图案,有助于我国借他山之石探寻传统纹样在现代标志设计中的运用。

ABSTRACT

Different from “tiger” in our traditional culture, European culture respected the “Lion” as king of animals. The lion has a handsome physique, dignified deportment and aristocratic temperament, is a symbol of strength and courage. In European culture, the lion is a ferocious cannibal beast, but also the king of the forest. Therefore the lion is considered a symbol of royal power, courage and strength. Therefore, the image of the lion in a variety of traditional European culture have become popular in the traditional European images of art and design development process, the lion image has emerged from the Stone Age. The lion image is not only one of the architectural sculpture, painting, creative themes, traditional arts and crafts and art and design one of important image pattern. The lion is the highest rate of animal images in the traditional European heraldry.

According to statistics, the lion patterns on account for 15 percent of all the emblems are now saved. The heraldic lion in a generally upright, like, head-side (only the left face), there are many relatively upright by two lions. Now the lion patterns on modern European graphic design is also quite common, such as Peugeot, Peugeot, Jin Kaisha Peugeot. In this paper, the lion patterns on the analysis and interpretation of multi-angle, grasp the implication of its typical shape and the most essential, and its design forms for historical investigation summary, to study the formation of the various periods of art and design, change and its convey the design concept, reveal its performance or implied ideological content, as well as the design of symbolic meaning, and thus expand the aesthetic sense of the accumulated into a European nation, and traditional cultural temperament. In China, there are patterns of lion pattern and Europe have the same connotation, such as dragon, tiger, unicorn pattern. Of European traditional patterns on the lion, to help our country by the Stones from other hills to explore the use of traditional patterns in the modern logo design.
