摘要
对于当下生活环境中的每一个人都对中国的古文化或者是图腾有一定的了解或者是熟悉。并且在最近几年之中，中国传统文化图腾这一元素在各个方面的设计行业中都有良好的运用以及结合。湘西土家族以及苗族图腾文化在景观设计中应用的意义在近几年中，越来越受国内外人士的青睐，运用中国文化元素进行景观设计是一种很好的方式，这种方式能够更加有效地将我国五千年的文化传统融入到现代环境艺术设计之中，从而创造出具有中国文化艺术色彩的设计作品。
