室内空间色彩设计是色彩设计中一个重要的组成部分，室内色彩设计分为自然、人文、和人为色彩三个因素，是色彩设计中不可忽视的三要素。室内色彩设计，就是在室内设计中，根据设计的具体要求和艺术规律来选择色彩使色彩在室内环境的空间位置和相互关系中，按色彩的规律进行合理的配置和组合。同时，色彩是室内设计很容易出效果的要素，也是造价较低廉和方便施工的室内要素。如果要改变一个空间气氛，从色彩方面可以花很少的钱和很短的时间就可以达到目的甚至可以改变空间功能。色彩能够满足人类的视觉享受；调节人们心理情绪；调节室内光线强弱；调整空间大小远近，充分体现了人们的生习惯。色彩搭配是设计中最具表现力和感染力的因素，它越来越能够反映人类的视觉感受所产生的一系列生理、心理的联想、有着深刻的寓意和象征。因此，在室内设计中，对于研究和运用色彩在室内空间中的作用及其变化规律，就显得尤为重要。
