当今社会,女性形象引起了社会的广泛关注。本文立足于先前研究，将战争作为大背景，以电影的表现形式来研究中西方女性形象,以《南京！南京！》与《天堂之路》分别作为中西方战争电影的代表，从电影故事情节、背景介绍等方面入手，将电影中女性形象的个性差异以及不同的艺术表现考虑在内，了解女性形象相同或不同的经历，研究女性在战争中所体现的作用以及影响，继而探究中西方女性形象在战争中分别处于何种地位，其在爱情观、价值观等方面的异同，从而有助于进一步了解中西方女性。

ABSTRACT
Recently, female image have been the heated topic in our society. More and more scholars are paying their attentions to it. This paper is based on previous researches and studies the female image in western and Chinese countries.
In this paper, City of Life and Death and Paradise Road are used as the representatives of Chinese war film and western war film. It compares the two films from the movie storyline, background and other aspects of the film, to further study the image of women in both similarities and differences and to understand the female image of the same or different experiences of women in war. Thus it achieves a general idea of the female image in war film in their views toward love, value, judgment, their own characters and artistic forms for Chinese and western females, which makes contributions to further excavations in the Western and Chinese feminist liberation.
