摘要：就我国目前的经济情况来看，大城市的交通客运量还是以地面常规公共交通为主要运输方式。从20世纪80年代开始，我国的经济一直持续高速增长，而城市公共交通的建设和发展一直滞后于社会经济和居民生活的需要。为此，我国政府制定了一系列政策，明确了以公共交通为主的城市交通发展战略。石家庄市是河北省的省会城市，同时也是河北省的政治中心、经济中心与文化中心。石家庄处于河北省的中南部，北靠着京津，东临着渤海与华北油田，西靠太行与山西省毗邻。石家庄素有“南北通衢、燕晋咽喉”之称。随着石家庄市区向郊区快速扩展，城郊乘客流量急剧增大，城郊公共交通成为城市公交矛盾最多、最尖锐的领域。本文针对石家庄市公共交通出现的问题经行研究，主要的内容包括：首先，对石家庄市公共交通现状经行了简要的概括，包括公共交通的概念和石家庄市的概括及其公共交通情况；其次，对于石家庄市公共交通出现的问题经行了分析，如基础设施差，服务质量不高等等；最后，针对上述出现的问题提出了针对性的措施。希望本文的研究对于石家庄市的城市规划与公共交通的发展有一定的借鉴意义。
