Abstract: The America is a seemingly very secular, but in fact is a very religious country, regardless of the separation of church and state. God is the American civilization’s ultimate backing. The Americans regard their own careers as the sacred mission which the God gives. The Christian culture which has deep influences on American politics, society as well as diplomatic policy can not be ignored. There are many researches on the American foreign policy. But a few scholars research the Christian culture elements in the American foreign policy by discussing the different five stages of America. This dissertation discusses the Christian culture element of in American diplomatic policy aiming at concluding the function of Christianity in the American foreign policy.
