Abstract: Irony and comic are the major characteristics in Jane Austen’s novels. In one of her representative work Pride and Prejudice, irony and comic are skillfully used to strengthen the structure, shape characters and describe the dialogue. This artistic innovation endues her literature with her own unique feature.
