Abstract
With the popularity of automatic transmissions used on modern cars, automatic transmission repair aftermarket industry is increasingly becoming a top priority. Taking as an example the automatic transmission Mercedes-Benz S500 focuses on its structure, principle and maintenance methods.
This paper introduces the structure and working principle of the Mercedes-Benz S500, often fail and it failed repairs. Summed up the Mercedes-Benz S500 automatic transmissions in working life are met real fault, the fault automobile is not an upshift, no forward gear, common faults no reverse gear were analyzed research, the real fault of the ideas and methods to exclude.
